Because of the many and varied activities in and around Las Vegas, we do not plan a formal social program. We have listed below some of the activities that have been recommended by past attendees.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, continental breakfast is served in the Exhibit Hall for course participants. In addition to breakfast, this provides an excellent opportunity to visit the exhibits. Your badge is required for admission. Breakfast schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 26 7:00-8:00 a.m.
Tuesday, March 27 6:30-8:00 a.m.
Wednesday, March 28 6:30-8:00 a.m.
The "Meet the Faculty" reception and dance is on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 at the hotel. Each year, both faculty and course participants especially enjoy this chance to informally interact with and "meet" the faculty. We will have hors d'oeuvres and one of Las Vegas' most well known DJs "spinning tunes" from every era. The dance floor awaits you.

You will enjoy over 100 shops and restaurants as well as the piazzas, statuary, foundations and facades, which are replicas of a street in historic Rome. The stone gods "come alive" with fascinating performances at the Festival Fountain and Atlantis attraction every hour from later morning through late evening daily.
Located in front of the Bellagio Hotel, more than 1000 fountains spanning 1000 feet dance and soar up to 240 feet in the air. The fountains are choreographed to music ranging from classical to Broadway show tunes. Bellagio's Botanical Garden offers a dance of color that only nature can provide, including different trees, different flowers and an entirely different theatrical presentation with each of the four seasons.
Pirates battle the British Navy at Buccaneer Bay in front of the Treasure Island Hotel every 90 minutes, 4-10 p.m., daily.
Every 15 minutes from dusk to midnight, flames shoot smoke and fire into the night sky over 100 feet above the waters below and transforming a tranquil waterfall into molten lava. This magnificent show is free to the public. The open air viewing of Siegfried and Roy's magnificent white tigers is available around the clock to the public. The 2.4 million gallon Dolphin Habitat is home to a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Four connected pools, an artificial coral reef system, and a sandy bottom replicate the dolphin's natural environment. The Dolphin Habitat is an educational facility offering guided tours for the public throughout the day.
