ACCREDITATION
 

The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA CREDIT DESIGNATION

The American College of Surgeons designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 9 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.     

Accreditation will also be applied for from other appropriate medical specialty organizations.

For the purposes of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.

CERTIFICATES
To receive CME credits/certificates, attendees MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT Verification of Attendance Forms and the Conference Evaluation Tool.  Attendees have the option of online submission or Paper Submission.  Online submissions will be processed immediately, and your certificate is emailed.  For paper submissions, CME certificates will be sent via email in June, 2013.

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION (MOC)
MOC Part 2 requires that 60 out of 90 hours must include a self-assessment activity.
